By the way, in case you wondered where the Ambarussa website went – ye olde hoste was hacked and malicious codes spread all over the place. It took me days to fix everything. (The site for the animal shelter we support was completely razed and couldn’t be restored, so thanks for nothing, Unknown Idiots from Fuckwitia. Plague and pestilence on your houses.)

Featuring Damian O’Hare as John Constantine!

The world’s greatest DC Super Heroes are heading to Cartoon Network in the premiere of Justice League Action, an all-new animated series that will kick off with “Shazam Slam,” a four-part special event debuting, Friday, Dec. 16 at 6:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and based on iconic DC characters, Justice League Action will premiere new episodes Saturday mornings on Cartoon Network, beginning Dec. 24.

In “Shazam Slam,” the villainous Black Adam battles Batman on the Rock of Eternity and unleashes a horde of Djinn determined to turn the Earth back to its pre-human, volcanic state. Affected by the otherworldly powers of these primordial monsters, Batman becomes possessed and is turned into a giant flying Batmonster laying waste to the Hall of Justice, with only Superman capable of taking the fight to the Dark Knight. One by one, the Justice League – with the help of Shazam (voiced by Sean Astin) and The Wizard (voiced by Carl Reiner) – must hunt down and defeat each Djinn in order to yet again save the world from destruction.

Damian O’Hare: “Brink” (VG)

11 May 2011 sees the release of “Brink”

an immersive first-person shooter that blends single-player, co-op, and multiplayer gameplay into one seamless experience, allowing you to develop your character whether playing alone, with your friends, or against others online. You decide the combat role you want to assume in the world of Brink as you fight to save yourself and mankind’s last refuge. Brink offers a compelling mix of dynamic battlefields, extensive customization options, and an innovative control system that will keep you coming back for more.

Damian O’Hare’s is one of the eight “voices” you can choose from to play (with a “fairly strong Northern Irish accent”).

“Brink” is available on Amazon and suitable for folks over 16 years of age.  Frank, authority for all things gaming, has already placed an order, so buyers shouldn’t be disappointed.
Don’t ask me – my favourite VG is Plants vs. Zombies

Pirates of the Caribbean Lego Video Game – new trailer and screencaps

I’m a declared VG luddite, but I admit I’m very tempted to pre-order the “Pirates of the Caribbean” Lego game, if it should be released for PC as well. The brand new trailer released today by Disney France looks hilarious.

Here’s a screencap. Marines that should have gone to Specsavers and a befuddled Norrington. You can choose one of 70 characters to play; whether Gillette will be one of them, I don’t know yet.

My favourite scene so far:

Damian O’Hare: “Killzone III”

One for the gamers: Damian has lent his voice to various “Helghast Soldiers” in Killzone III, which has been released on 22 February, 2011.

According to Wikipedia, Killzone III

… is a 2011 first-person shooter for the PlayStation 3, developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is the fourth installment in the Killzone series, the first game in the series to be presented in 3D and the first to include motion controls using the PlayStation Move.
